Wintergreen

If there is one word to describe Wintergreen essential oil, that word is STRONG.

Wintergreen is an evergreen shrub native to East Asia and North America, and has been shown to act as  a powerful pain reliever. It contains up to 98% methyl salycilate, a pain-relieving compound that can be toxic when ingested. It's so strong, in fact, that it can be dangerous for certain people (such as those with blood clotting issues). Do your research before administering this essential oil!

Wintergreen can aid in soothing inflammation, muscular pain, spasms, pain from rheumatoid arthritis, muscular tension, pain from fibromyalgia, chronic back pain, joint pain, cramps, and general aches and tension.
